More than 65.000 samples are analysed every year for microbiological parameters. Our Microbiology Lab performs analyses in a wide range of samples including processed food, water (potable, sea, surface) and waste.
The main analyses undertaken are:
- TVC 37C, 22C, Coliforms, E.coli, Enterococci, P.aeruginosa, C.perfringens
- Salmonella spp
- Listeria monocytogenes
- E. coli O157
- Staphylococcal enterotoxin
The accreditation of the laboratory according to ISO 17025 includes more than 45 microbiological methods in food, feeds, milk and dairy products, infant formula based on milk, meat & meat products, drinking water and sea water
