Efthymios  Efthymiadis

Efthimios Efthymiadis holds a Master’s degree in “Engineering Production and Management” from the University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology. He speaks English, German, French and a few Spanish. He started his career at PROCTER & amp; GAMBLE at the London Research Center, which continued in the operations of EFTHIMIADIS Group initially as Assistant Technical Director of the K + N EFTHYMIADIS SA factory, then as Marketing Manager of NETAGRO SA . and later as General Manager of BIOS AGROSYSTEMS SA.

Today he holds the position of Chairman of the Board of  VELTIA Labs for Life, BIOS AGROSYSTEMS SA and HELLENIC FARMING SA. He is also vice president of VITRO A.E. and Vice Chairman of the parent company of Efthimiadis Group REDESTOS A.E. Finally, he is President of the Association of Greek Producers and Seed Merchants (EIPPs) and General Secretary of the Association of Industries of Northern Greece (SVEE).

Alexandros Giannousios

Mr. Alexander Giannousios is a graduate of the Department of Chemistry of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from which he was awarded a PhD in Analytical Chemistry in 1996. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Kingston University, UK.

During his career he has worked as an analytical chemist in various laboratories, concerning food and water control.

In 2001 he joined the VELTIA Labs for Life (formerly AGROLAB-RDS) scientific team as Head of the Laboratory of Environmental Analysis and Nutrition Food Labeling. In 2003 he took over under his responsibility as Technical Director all the laboratories of the company, maintaining this position until 2019 in parallel with his other responsibilities. In 2009 he took over the position of Deputy General Manager, while from 2010 he became the General Management of the company, a position which he holds to this day.

He is a member of the Board of VELTIA GR, as well as a member of the Board to all subsidiaries of the VELTIA Labs for Life Laboratory Group.

He is the CEO of the entire Veltia Group of Labs and at the same time is the Administrator of ENVIROLAB.

George Stratakis

Mr. Stratakis holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics (A.U.Th.), bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Technology – Plant Production (A.T.E.Th) and a Master’s Degree in Management Businesses (MBA) Kingston University, U.K..

He started his professional career in 1988 in AGROLAB RDS (nowadays VELTIA Labs for Life) as an Principal Investigator for conducting Agronomic Studies. From 2000 to 2004 he took over the position of QA Manager for the GLP system and for the installation of ISO 17025 system in the company’s laboratories. From 2005 until 2012 he was responsible of company’s Marketing and started Company’s activity in the Balkan countries and Cyprus. From 2012 up to 2017 he was Head of the Marketing, Public Tenders & Programs Dpt. having under his responsibility overseeing the sales of subsidiaries. In 2018 he was assigned the duties of Commercial Director of  VELTIA Labs for Life for Greece & Balkans and in 2021 he became the Commercial Director of the whole Group of VELTIA Labs for Life.

Dora Koraki

Mrs. Koraki graduated from the Department of Biology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). Her PhD Thesis, “Study of Natural Streptomyces of the Mediterranean Ecosystems: Genetics and Molecular Analysis of ccc Plasmids”, was on Molecular Microbiology.
She participated as a researcher on the EU-Project SMT4-CT96-2072 “Developments of Methods to Identify Foods Produced by Means of Genetic Engineering Techniques”. In 2001 she established the first accredited laboratory in Greece for the detection of GMOs. Since then she participated in two other national and one European research grants for the development of methods for GMOs quantification.

She has also participated as a researcher in three scientific research grants on biochemical and molecular identification of microorganisms as well as on various European and National research networks in the field of Environmental and Molecular Microbiology and Biotechnology. She has been a member of the National Council for Research and Technology of the Hellenic Food Authority Working Group “Genetically Modified Foods” for 2 years. She has 6 publications in International Scientific Journals and participated in 15 International conferences.

She joined our company in 2013 as technical manager of Microbiology and Molecular Laboratory. In 2018 she became the manager of Athens Branch.

In July 2020 she has taken over the General Directorate of VELTIA CYPRUS Labs for Life. Since the beginning of 2024 Mrs. Koraki took over the position of Deputy General Manager of VELTIA Greece, while she is the Country Manager for Cyprus.

Ioannis Kaidatzis

Mr. Ioannis Kaidatzis is a graduate of the Department of Chemistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Is holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Winchester University, U.K.

During his career he has worked as an analytical chemist in various chemical companies.

In 2002 he joined the scientific staff of AGROLAB as Head of the Food Contaminants Laboratory. Since 2010 he is an evaluator of the National Accreditation System (ESYD) for Test Laboratories. Simultaneously with the position of head since 2014, he took over the position of Deputy Technical Director.

From 2020 until today he is in charge of the Technical Management of all the laboratories of the company.

Panagiotis Konstantinou

Mr. Panagiotis Konstantinou is a graduate of the Chemistry department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (EKPA) and he took specializing in olive oil analysis by the Istituto Sperimentale per la Elaiotecnica (Research Center of the Italian State for olive oil, table olives and olive culture).

During his career, since 1996, he has worked as an analytical chemist and as a production manager in laboratories and units in the olive oil and vegetable oils & fat industry.

He is an olive oil taster and a member of the organoleptic evaluation panel of the Association of Greek Olive Oil Standardization Industries (SEVITEL). He was also a member of the Advisory Committee of Chemical Experts of the association.

From 2009 to 2018 he owned the Olitecn laboratory (accredited analytical laboratory having as sole object the analysis of olive oils, vegetable and animal fats and oils)

In 2018 Olitecn merged with the chemical laboratory of VELTIA (former Agrolab) and relocated at VELTIA’s facilities, so he joined the staff of the Lab as head of the laboratory for analysis of olive oil and fats.

Since July 2020 he took over the Management of the Athens Facilities.
